Educational Disclaimer
The purpose, scope, and practical limits of online professional learning services.
Last updated: 09/24/2026
1. Educational purpose
Pryden Scholar provides online education and professional development for individuals and small businesses. Its advertised services include structured courses, private training sessions, instructor-led workshops, customized learning programs, small business team training, and development of educational materials. These services are intended to support learning through explanation, discussion, resources, and practical activities.
An educational service should be understood by its confirmed subject and scope. A general description of professional development does not mean that every profession, business issue, or regulated activity is covered. The subject, learning objectives, format, duration, audience, and included materials are confirmed before purchase. This disclaimer explains the limits of educational information; it does not replace a clear description of the service or excuse a failure to provide what was agreed.
2. A newly established company
Pryden Scholar was established on September 24, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado, and is a newly established provider of online education. Before enrolling, review the service description and request clarification about any requirement that matters to your decision. The written scope, confirmed schedule, and participation arrangements define the service being offered.
Descriptions of learning formats communicate how a proposed service can be organized. They are not case studies or evidence that a particular participant already obtained a stated result. Photographs and interface illustrations are illustrative representations of remote learning. They should not be interpreted as photographs of identified company instructors, verified students, a physical campus, or an existing proprietary learning platform.
3. Individual outcomes vary
Learning outcomes depend on the participant's starting knowledge, preparation, attendance, engagement, practice, subject, and circumstances. A participant may need further study or experience after a course or workshop. A price, course title, or general professional development description does not guarantee a specific level of mastery within a fixed time unless a particular learning requirement is expressly defined in the service agreement.
Pryden Scholar does not guarantee employment, a promotion, salary growth, a business income level, customer results, an examination pass, or another external outcome. Those results depend on factors beyond an educational service. An absence of guarantees does not permit misleading advertising or inaccurate claims. Any specific claim about a program should be accurate, supportable, and consistent with what the program actually provides.
4. Degrees, accreditation, and regulated credentials
The website does not claim that the advertised services are accredited degree programs, government-approved professional qualifications, or approved continuing education credits. It also does not claim that a course qualifies a participant for a professional license or satisfies an employer's particular credential requirements. No such status should be inferred from the word course, training, workshop, scholar, or certificate.
If a participant needs a regulated credential, licensing requirement, continuing education credit, or employer-recognized qualification, the participant should ask for written clarification before purchase. Any representation of external approval must identify the approval accurately and be verified. A program may be offered only where the authorizations and conditions applicable to that program are met. This disclaimer does not establish an exemption from a law governing private education or occupational training.
5. Certificates, if included
A certificate is included only when the enrollment information expressly says it is included. Its meaning depends on the criteria stated for the program. A participation certificate may acknowledge attendance; a completion certificate may acknowledge that defined activities were completed. Neither should be described as proof of a broader professional qualification without verified grounds.
Before enrolling for the purpose of obtaining a certificate, confirm whether one is offered, what must be completed, what information it will state, and whether any third party accepts it for your intended purpose. The presence of an illustrative document or learning interface on a website does not create an entitlement to a credential. A certificate should not state a result that was not assessed or completed.
6. Educational information and professional advice
Training about business or professional skills provides educational information within an agreed subject. It is not a substitute for individualized legal, tax, accounting, medical, investment, or other regulated professional advice. A general educational example may simplify a situation to make a concept easier to discuss and may not include every fact relevant to a real decision.
Participants remain responsible for decisions in their workplace or business. Obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional when a decision requires it. Do not rely on an educational discussion as authorization to perform a regulated activity or ignore an obligation imposed by law, an employer, or a professional body. The type of professional advice needed depends on the actual decision, rather than the availability of an online workshop.
7. Examples, activities, and materials
Examples and practice activities are used to explain a subject. Unless expressly identified otherwise, they are illustrative and should not be treated as verified commercial cases, real participant results, or predictions. Materials should be used in accordance with their stated purpose and any applicable license or participation terms.
A participant should avoid placing confidential business information, private customer records, personal employee data, or another person's protected material into a class exercise without authorization. A nonconfidential or anonymized example is often sufficient for learning. Where a customized project genuinely requires client content, the parties should agree the content boundaries, permissions, and handling method before transfer.
8. Changes, accuracy, and third-party tools
Business practices, software, and professional requirements can change. A learning resource should identify its context where that context affects usefulness. Information that was accurate when prepared may need updating later. A purchased access period or agreed update obligation is defined by the service arrangement; general educational services do not automatically include permanent updates.
Remote delivery may rely on a third-party meeting or learning platform. Availability, accessibility, and functionality can be affected by that provider and the participant's equipment or connection. The company should explain relevant participation requirements before purchase and consider reasonable alternatives where appropriate. This disclaimer does not remove a remedy that is required when the agreed service is not delivered.
9. Scope, participation, and suitability
A suitable service depends on the learning objective and audience. A private session is different from a structured course, a team engagement, or a materials development project. Confirm the service unit, duration, format, included resources, and any prerequisites before enrollment. Do not assume that every service includes unlimited follow-up, individualized advice, or content outside its written scope.
If you have a participation or accessibility need, describe the relevant need before booking so that available arrangements can be discussed. You should not be asked to disclose unrelated medical information merely to enquire about an alternative format. If the company cannot reasonably provide a necessary arrangement, that limitation should be explained before a purchaser commits to a service that they cannot use.
10. Rights and enquiries
This disclaimer should be read with the Terms and Conditions, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and service-specific written arrangements. It does not waive nonwaivable consumer rights, excuse false advertising, or remove responsibility for conduct that applicable law does not permit a business to exclude. An educational limitation and a contractual delivery obligation are separate questions.
Contact Pryden Scholar before purchase if you need clarification about suitability, a credential, the meaning of a course description, or the limits of a proposed service. Identify your intended learning purpose and the question you need answered. A local confirmation from the website form does not send that question or constitute approval of your intended use of a program.
