Legal information

Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you explore our website, contact us directly, or participate in an agreed learning service.

Last updated: 09/24/2026

1. About this policy

Pryden Scholar provides online education and professional development for individuals and small businesses. The company began on September 24, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado. This policy explains the information relevant to our website, direct communications, enrollment arrangements, remote training, and development of educational materials. It applies to the services described here and should be read alongside the enrollment or engagement details for a particular program.

Different activities involve different information. Browsing a page is not the same as sending an email, joining a live workshop, or paying an invoice. We describe these activities separately so that a visitor can understand which information is involved. This policy does not represent every future program or an outside platform as already operating. If a service introduces a materially different use of information, the relevant notice must be updated before that use begins.

2. The learning enquiry form

The learning enquiry form on this website is a confirmation-only form. Answers remain in the page while you complete the fields. Completing the form displays a message on this page; it does not email your answers, create a booking, initiate a payment, or send the answers to a company database. The form does not save your name, phone number, email address, selected program, or message in browser storage.

If you want Pryden Scholar to receive an enquiry, contact the company using the email address, postal address, or phone number shown at the end of this policy. Information you send through those channels is separate from information typed into the confirmation-only form. A local confirmation should not be treated as evidence that a communication reached our team, that a place was reserved, or that a response is scheduled.

3. Information provided directly

When you contact Pryden Scholar directly, the communication may include your name, contact details, organization, preferred subject, learning goals, availability, and information you choose to share about your current knowledge. A small business contact may also provide the number of participants and their roles. Provide only information that is relevant to planning the educational service.

An agreed enrollment or project may require billing contact details, participant names, attendance information, learning activity submissions, or approved content needed to prepare materials. Payment arrangements may involve an outside payment provider. Do not send complete payment card details, passwords, identity documents, or confidential employee files in an ordinary enquiry. If sensitive information is genuinely needed for a particular purpose, we will explain the reason and collection method before requesting it.

4. Technical information and website delivery

The company website and its hosting services may process technical information needed to deliver pages and maintain security. Depending on the services actually enabled, this can include an IP address, request time, page address, device or browser information, and records of errors or suspected misuse. Such information can be processed by the website host even when a visitor does not complete a form.

The custom learning enquiry interface does not add analytics or advertising scripts. Additional functionality introduced through the website host or another provider is subject to separate assessment and disclosure. We classify technologies according to their purpose; convenience to the business alone does not make an optional tool essential. Information about cookies and similar storage is described in the Cookie Policy, including how visitors can review the privacy preference saved by this interface.

5. Purposes of handling information

Information supplied directly is used for the context in which it is provided: answering an enquiry, clarifying a learning brief, arranging an agreed service, supplying materials, coordinating participants, handling a cancellation, or resolving an administrative question. Information from a training engagement may also be needed to document what was agreed and delivered.

We do not use information for an unrelated purpose without an appropriate basis and notice. A request for course information is not, by itself, permission to add the sender to recurring marketing communications. If separate promotional communications are offered, we will provide a clear choice and explain how to withdraw it. Completing the local website form does not subscribe a visitor to marketing.

6. Remote platforms and service providers

A particular learning service may use an outside video meeting, course delivery, file sharing, email, or payment service. The provider and participation requirements are confirmed as part of the service arrangements. We limit information shared with the people and providers involved in delivery to what is needed for the agreed activity.

Outside services can operate their own accounts, security controls, records, and privacy notices. A participant should review the relevant provider information before creating an account or sharing material. Pryden Scholar does not claim to control every setting or data practice of a third-party service. If an alternative participation method is needed, raise the request before the session or program so that available options can be considered.

7. Live sessions, recordings, and learning materials

Participation in a virtual class may reveal a participant's display name, voice, image, questions, or shared screen to the instructor and other participants. Use a suitable environment and avoid displaying confidential documents or unrelated personal information. Group participants should respect the privacy of others and avoid redistributing class conversations or participant contact details.

This policy does not authorize automatic recording of every session. Recording, if proposed, must be explained in advance, including its purpose, access, permitted use, and relevant retention arrangements. Separate permission should be sought when required. A participant must not record or redistribute a session without the permissions required by the program and applicable law. Educational examples should use nonconfidential information wherever possible.

8. Small business and team engagements

A business arranging training should have authority to supply participant information and should inform its team about the training arrangements. The business contact is responsible for keeping the participant list appropriate and current. Employees should not be asked to provide unrelated private information merely to attend a professional development session.

The parties should identify what attendance, completion, or activity information will be reported to the business before training begins. A general team learning engagement does not automatically authorize personal performance profiling or an unrestricted transfer of individual discussions. Any reporting that is part of the agreed scope should be proportionate, explained to participants, and limited to the educational purpose.

9. Privacy choices and requests

You may contact Pryden Scholar to ask about information you supplied directly, request correction of an inaccurate detail, withdraw an optional communication choice, or request deletion where applicable. The availability and scope of legal rights depend on the law that applies to the information and activity. This policy does not assume that every state privacy statute applies to every newly established business.

To help address a request, identify the information or service involved and provide a way to contact you. Reasonable verification may be needed to avoid disclosing another person's information. A request may be limited by a legal obligation, an active dispute, an agreed service that still requires the information, or another lawful exception. Where applicable law provides an appeal or complaint right, that right is not removed by this policy.

10. Retention, security, and changes

We retain information supplied directly only for as long as necessary for its stated purpose, agreed service administration, relevant accounting or legal requirements, and resolution of a genuine dispute. The appropriate period depends on the type of record, the service, and applicable obligations. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or de-identified using a method appropriate to the record and the systems involved.

We use safeguards proportionate to the information involved and restrict access to people who need it for the relevant service or administrative purpose. No website, email system, meeting platform, or storage method is completely secure. Contact the company promptly if you believe information associated with a learning engagement has been handled incorrectly. This website's saved privacy preference is described in the Cookie Policy. Changes to this policy will be reflected in its update date, with additional notice when required.
